There are some instructions on the internet on how to turn off these sometimes less and sometimes very annoying ads. Most of these problems have Xiaomi's own apps, e.g. the security app, which has a somewhat hidden "recommendations" on/off function in various places in various sub-modules. It's a bit of a hassle, but once the switches are all flipped, you're usually rid of the ads. Here are the instructions:

However, I wouldn't recommend or buy the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, it's way too expensive for what's on offer. For a bit more you can get a much better Xiaomi 11T or for even a bit more an 11T Pro. The phones are superior to a Redmi Note 11 Pro in everything, faster and better charging. The Xiaomi 11T Pro is the best of the two, best processor with even better camera than the 11T, which is due to the Mediatek processor image signal processor of the 11T, and charging with the included 120 watt power adapter within about 20 minutes.

On the Xiaomi 11T, the RAM is expandable by 2 GB to 8 + 2, because it has 128 GB of storage, but this is not expandable. Both receive security updates until August 2025.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro even has 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 8 + 3 GB.

Apart from the even better charging and the faster processor, the Xiaomi 11T is a real recommendation, because the phone has a very good configuration and a Redmi Note 11 Pro is a much worse phone and that for the same money.
