I can't connect to the wifi, because it's a wifi over 3 flats, I can't unplug the router. Is it the network or the device? Thanks in advance

If other devices are connected to the Wi-Fi, it is more likely to be the device itself than the Wi-Fi.
Do you have sufficient reception in your home (because you say the Wi-Fi is external)?
