Question about Xiaomi 12 5G
I have a Huawei P30 and later regretted not taking the Pro because it has better camera features. How is it now with Xiaomi? Are there also differences in the camera software between the 12, 12 Pro, 12T Pro? I know the product comparison, I see the differences in megapixels, light intensity, display etc.. But none stands out in any way. Where one is good, the other feature is worse. The things are hardly comparable. I want to take photos and communicate with them, not watch films or play games. I would prefer the size of the Xiaomi 12. What phone today would take much better photos than the Huawei P30? (Other brands too)

As far as I know, there are no differences in the software, I think it's just tailored to the model. Have you compared the photos of the phones? If not, there are standardised photos on gsmarena. I don't know much more about it.
Well, I have been using Xiaomi devices for a very long time and I am completely satisfied. I recently compared Samsung S20 Ultra with Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro+ and Xiaomi showed the better pictures for me.
As a basis is imemr massgened the Mpx. The higher this number is, the more information the camera collects which can then be processed by the software. Software can be updated, hardware cannot. If it's purely for 'hobby photography' or taking snapshots, it's best to always go for the highest possible pixel rate.
And with the new 12T series, Xiaomi have made a fighting announcement against Apple and Samsung in terms of price-performance.
As far as the installed software is concerned, all 12Ts and below are equipped with identical MIUI as far as possible or will be upgraded in the future.
Technically, the 12T Pro would be the best variant with the 200MP / 12 has 50MP / 12T has 108MP. Best to do a comparison on the site between the devices and see the differences.
