I have a Macbook Air 2022 and wanted to connect it to the display with the USB-C cable and a USB-C/USB-A adapter. However, I did not get a signal on the screen. Has anyone had similar experiences? How do you get it to work? I would also like to use the built-in webcam (which apparently only works via the USB-C cable). Thank you.

I already answered that question three years ago. It already works. If you have connected the screen to the HDMI port, you also have to connect the screen to the MacBook with the USB A/C cable that comes with it. This works perfectly for me.
