I have a MacBook Air 6.2 (early 2014). Can I use the monitor with it? Do I need an additional cable that is not supplied with the display anyway? The MacBook has the following ports: - Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps). - Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps) Thanks for the answers!

The Thunderbot connection is also a mini display port. A DisplayPort cable is included with the Dell monitor. You need either an adapter (e.g. Dell Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter), an MDP-DP cable (Club 3D MiniDisplayPort <-> DisplayPort) or an MDP-HDMI cable (Delock Mini Displayport 1.1 cable -> HDMI). All three variants work.

On a Macbook Pro (late 2012) it works via HDMI. If you have a Thunderbolt port, you still need an adapter from Displayport (monitor) to MiniDisplayport (=Thunderbolt 1&2/ MacBook).
