I have a question, I bought the monitor yesterday and I have the problem that it always drags a big black veil behind it (it's a kind of ghosting, but it can't be fixed with the Overdrive etc. setting). However, this usually only happens with grey on black images. Is the panel deffective or have I made a mistake? (I have already set the HZ, correct picture size and so on).

I assume you have already done some research on the internet. At a glance, I think I saw that AOC supplies two different panels here. What else you can do is change the refresh rate (Hz), depending on what it is, it can have an influence.
