I have a switch and now want a monitor for the home office and to connect the switch. If I connect the switch to a WQHD monitor, how does that look? Black bars on the left and right would still be totally okey.

Hi Tom. What exactly do you mean by switch? Please describe exactly what you have. If you mean a docking station, e.g. from HP, it has no influence.
