I have just bought an FP3+ and as it comes without a charger, I subsequently used my old Huawei SuperCharger charger. Unfortunately, this charger is not compatible with the FP3+, neither the plug nor the cable work. So my tip for you is, buy the original plug from FP and use a cable that is not designed for SuperCharge. With this experience, I was able to charge the device without any problems.
