I have switched from 2 monitors to this one. The laptop is connected via USB-C. But now I would like the monitor to be recognised as 2 monitors, left and right, which would make my work easier. Does anyone know how to do this without setting up an additional docking station?

You need a USBC out port and an HDMI out port - if you don't have that, you need a docking station. You could also use another USB A port on the notebook, but then you need an HDMI adapter with an integrated graphics card and it is more expensive than a small docking station with 2 HDMI ports
