I have the part in use. As I have to screw the 2nd monitor in quite far, the right arm is too short. Is it possible to buy an arm extension for this or which cheapest holder has a longer arm that fits on the pole?

I don't think there are alternative arms for the product, that would probably be a completely different product for larger monitors or you might be lucky and find a suitable product.
If I had your problem, I would look for a VESA adapter plate / mount analogue to Digitec Art. 30589142
