I have the problem that the LAN connection is constantly interrupted, i.e. the adapter is visible, then disappears again, etc. Another problem is that when the notebook comes out of standby, the LAN connection is not reactivated. I have to switch the monitor off and on again. Then it works. What could be the reason for this? This was never the case with the previous docking station. In other words, when the LAN cable was plugged into the Dok, the notebook immediately used the LAN connection. Even after standby. What options do I have?

Helpful answer
I have now been able to solve the problem: Important: For USB-C preset settings, always select "High resolution" and not "High speed data". This way, the LAN is always activated, even from standby.

Good question ... I can confirm that it takes 2 - 3 seconds for the LAN connection to appear after I restart the notebook. I use the MS Surface Thunderbold docking station between the monitor and notebook and with this combination I never have a connection problem apart from the 2 - 3 seconds when restarting. We use various different notebook models in the home office. Notebook models via the MS Dock (Dell, MS Surface Laptop and HP).
