I have two such monitors so far. However, I can NOT get them both to have the same colours. What am I doing wrong? I have a Geforce 3070 graphics card and therefore 2x Displayport and 2x HDMI. I have a total of 3 monitors, all Samsung. Is there a trick or can the colours really differ if I have exactly the same monitors?

Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry.
The fact that two monitors of the same model show different colours is called "series dispersion" and is normal behaviour.
A monitor consists of various components that are responsible for the colour representation. These differ due to the material and the manufacturing process in production, so that there are always deviations between the individual devices.
Kind regards from Schwalbach

The problem may arise if the monitors do not have exactly the same panels. Even with monitors that are identical in themselves, it can happen that different panels have been installed. Or the control boards have different components. Or the units come from different factories, or were manufactured at different times. Or they have aged differently. Such things can have an effect. Matching the colours of several screens has always been very difficult. It is therefore usually better to work with only one very large screen, if possible.
