I need a new cable to connect the monitor to my laptop. Ideally a very short one. Which one can you recommend? I have already used the wrong one...

I can't recommend a specific one. What I noticed, however, is that the USB C cable I used only works on one side. I had to mark a connector and always connect this connector on the side of the screen. If I do it the other way round, the screen is not recognised and no signal is sent. This is 100% reproducible over and over again. I cannot explain this. I use an HP Emtebook.
