I ordered this microphone from Galaxus in January. Unfortunately, noise can be heard on recordings. The settings on the laptop are correct and it's not the laptop's vent. Does anyone have any tips?

The easiest way is to connect the microphone to another PC on which you have installed the latest version of the RODE app. If there is no more noise, then it is either due to the software on the laptop (-> Update), the settings (-> System) or the hardware (-> Cable or plug connection).

I had similar problems some time ago. To solve that problem, I updated the microphone firmware. The funny thing is that there is no information on the product webpage about that, but if you download the "RODE Connect" app, there is an option for firmware updates, which solves all my issues. You can try this link; I hope it works in the comments. Good luck. https://rode.com/en...

Noise can come from many different sources...
Perhaps try eliminating the possible sources...
Has the Rode Central application been installed?
Put a mouse pad or something thick under the microphone stand, vibrations (noise) can pass through, so test this.
Maintain the correct distance between the voice/instrument and the microphone. If it is too far away, it could be a source of noise when picking up the environment.
Make sure that the environment is really calm and quiet? A microphone picks up a lot of things and this is normal.
Is the USB cable plugged directly into the computer or is it connected to a hub (avoid this)?
To be continued....
