i plan to buy this monitor as a 2nd external screen. is it possible to connect this monitor to my main monitor via display port daisychain, so that only one usb c cable leads from the main monitor to my laptop?

We use several screens in parallel. So not as a dasychain, but via a docking station on the notebook. In our case, Surface Pro 7 and 8 and 9, as well as Surface Studio. All on the identical docking station and all working with at least 2 screens. We have never had any problems.
