I pre-ordered the iPhone on the first day, 13 September, and it said it would be delivered between 02 and 16 November. Now it says "Delivery on Thu 5.12.", how can this be when on the Apple website they deliver on 5 November if I order today (29 October)? Is there any way I can get it before December, or is it better to order it directly from Apple? Is delivery guaranteed for early December or will it take longer?

So I ordered on the Apple website and received it in 2 days... I'm cancelling my order here.

I also ordered on the first day, as soon as preorders were possible, I had a probable delivery date in early November, but  my phones were delivered on the 5th October

I think they have a "first come, first served" policy, and as lots of people preordered on the first day, you are maybe behind in the list, and Galaxus will deliver progressively covering the list.

At the Apple Store the situation is the same, I tried to get it there earlier to no avail.

However depending on the model you can find on the apple page the link "reserve and pick up on store"  I guess that is when somebody who ordered doesn't pick it up or declines to buy as the available offers change often.  The link only shows up when they have something available though.

My wife had the same delivery date. 
The iPhone was then delivered on 23 October. 
I would wait and see. Apple's deadlines are tedious.
