I recommend waiting to buy Huawei devices at the moment. Google has blacklisted Huawei and withdrawn its Android licence. Huawei will probably have to develop its own operating system, but only time will tell if and how well that works. Too bad, I have a p20 pro myself and am a big fan of it!

Much worse is that access to Youtube and Gmail and other services will probably also be blocked; this means that my P30 pro will soon become an expensive paperweight :-(

I would be happy if someone could tell me that this is not true?

Bitter, great smartphone but without security updates it's not even worth 200Fr. Practically, Huawei becomes unsaleable in the non-Chinese market.
