I want to connect this switch to a UniFi Switch 8 150W via a SFP+ Direct Attach cable to add 8 PoE ports without losing any of the "normal" ports, is this possible.

Should work.
As far as I know, the SFP ports are even intended to connect individual devices/switches to each other.
