If you connect it to your laptop using the HDMI cable, the screen runs at 240hz? Where does it have to be connected with the Displayport?

Hello Panaulit
This monitor has the following connections:
HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.4.
I don't want to go into the specifications here.
But if you connect this monitor via HDMI, whether to your computer or to your game console, the maximum you can transmit is 144 Hz at 2560x1440.
If you connect the monitor via Display Port, you can transmit 240 Hz at 2560x1440.
If you have further questions like colour bit depth, chroma subsampling, or more information about the standards, please feel free to ask them here.
Greetings Benriach

And if I use a Displayport 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter, will it work? Will I be running at 240hz?
Best regards
