In the description it says it is a 'hub'. Can I connect my mouse and keyboard to the screen via USB and the screen to a USB and the laptop? Because I tried to connect my mouse (USB), keyboard (USB), this monitor (HDMI) via switch (which has a USB-C male, translates to USB) to my laptop, but video didn't work. Mouse and keyboard did. I am open to suggestions.

I don't quite understand what you have done, but in my opinion image transfer is only possible via USB-C and not via USB-A

Hello mvo, the monitor has a hub. However, it is not a docking station. You can plug your USB devices into the monitor. Then you have to connect the USB-B (blue square plug) to your laptop. However, no image can be transferred via this. This is only possible with Thunderbold-capable monitors.

Hello mvo
Have you connected your laptop via an adapter, i.e. from USB-C to USB-A (the rectangular USB)? That will not work. The monitor must be connected to an HDMI port on the laptop. Or you can use a docking station that can convert from USB-A to HDMI.
Good luck
