Is it possible to leave the Bowen adapter on the flash and put the protective cap on it? It's a real pain to take the bulb off every time you transport it. With the AD600, the protective cap fits perfectly on the adapter. Unfortunately not on the 400. Does anyone have any tips?

Yes, that is possible!

The rear part of the corresponding reflector can simply be removed. The reflector then has a Bowens mount. Attach this to the Bowens adaptor and put the protective cap on as usual.
