It is an input surface with a pen. You can see what you draw on the screen. It takes some getting used to, but after that it works quite well. I use it for whiteboard presentations

It has no screen. It is purely an input device for a PC. Cannot be connected to a smartphone. It can't do anything on its own. It is basically a special mouse for graphic artists, designers and photographers.
