Is the connection to the TV USB or USB-C? If USB-C, could it work with an adapter to USB and will it be able to transmit 4K? My TV does not have USB-C, so I need to know if the 4K performance is also given with adapter?

The Chromecast is connected to the TV via HDMI.

The USB-C socket is intended for the power supply.
