I would rather go for the ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q, or wait for the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG35VQ, which should be released soon.

No, you can take it because the 1080 ti is so strong that you have over 100 fps and G-sync is most noticeable in the fps range of 30-60.
