It doesn't work for me. I can't manage to format the SSD. Macbook Pro, 13.1. The pack says compatible with Mac High Sierra, Catalina and Mojave. But Galaxus doesn't say that. I've written to Sandisk, otherwise the thing will go back.

When I connect my new SanDisk Portable to my Mac, only an exe programme for Windows appears. SanDiskSecureAccessV3.01_win.exe
Is this a product error? I connected the SSD to my Mac with the USB cable supplied.

Compatible it is, it just needs to be formatted before use so that Apple devices can read the data on it and write to the storage device. The connector on this SSD is a USB-C, as far as I know a USB-A to USB-C cable is included. I bought a short USB-C to USB-C cable for use with my Macbook Air. What also works is the included USB-C to USB-C cable from the charger on the Macbooks.

Mine came with a USB_A cable.
