A screen can't be incompatible, as long as you have the correct ports (hdmi/display port), it'll be compatible.

No problem with this monitor, as it has the control elements on the unit itself. There are other monitors that can also be controlled via software, for which I know there is always Windows SW, for macOS it doesn't always look so good.
