Is there any way this product description can be updated with the Version Model Number ? I am referring to info like LE2120 wich tells the consumer what phone version is it, as LE2120 is the Chinese version, LE2121 is the Indian version, LE2125 is the US version, and LE 2123 is the European version. (this info is from the OnePlus support forum) I am asking this because I almost bought one, from a different place of course, and when checking the info on the back of the box, looking for specs, the stickers were all in chinese, and the listed model on the sticker was LE2120, which meant the phone is the chinese version. Hardware wise this is no problem as there is no difference, but the software is different and the firmware wise is also different. The firmware tells the radios which channels and frequencies to use for 4g and 5g and wifi, and in this case the operating software of the phone would be Hydrogen OS with sideloaded Google Apps, AppStore included. So this 5g phone would have never connected to a 5g GSM network as we use different channels in Europe. WiFi issues as well, as Europe uses different WiFi channels than China does. There is a reason why there are this different versions for different regions. Technical stuff, legal stuff and warranty stuff. The worst thing I saw clearly printed on one of the stickers of the phone box was "Only for sale and warranty in Mainland China", wich means that OnePlus will not cover any issues under warranty in Europe for this version of the phone, as they do not have license from OnePlus to repair that version here, in Europe. And in case of any issues, you could get stuck with a very expensive paperwight. So... Is there any way this product description can be updated with the Version Model Number please ?
