Is this a router or a switch?! If router: - it probably doesn't have a modem built in and therefore can't simply be plugged into the DSL connection and configured. What kind of modem do you recommend? Thanks

I run directly with fibre optics. What Sunrise supplies with its routers fits into the SFP socket, for example. It runs extremely stable in the city of Zurich. The original router from Sunrise is therefore obsolete.

If nothing better than DSL is available, I would take a look at the Fritzboxes. From what I hear, they are quite carefree.
