Question about Samsung Galaxy S21+ EU
Is this a sim-free (unlocked) phone? I live in Japan but want to buy my phone in Switzerland.

all smartphones produced for the German market, have a European SIM-lock. As soon as you used the phone with a European SIM and executed an uninterrupted call for at least 5 minutes, the lock should be lifted. Then you may use the device with any local provider.
Nevertheless, we recommend buying your phone in the country, in which it will be used mainly, because the warranty is only valid in Europe.
