Knowing OnePlus, 5G will probably not work out of the box with Swisscom, Sunrise & Salt. I've already heard a few times that it can be undermined by software. Does anyone currently know of a good tutorial (which works) that can be used to override this lock? I mean if it is possible with the Oppo Find X3 Pro, surely it would also be possible with the OnePlus 9 Pro? Someone (provider or OnePlus) must have built in a software lock. Thank you very much.

Hello Jul1an_S

this following link describes how to unlock 5G on the existing Oneplus phones. It should be similar on the op9 pro, but still it should not be a restriction in terms of carrier or network frequency on the phone. if it should be, contact Digitec for a replacement based on the description here it should be Sim Unlocked and support 5G out of the box.

Hello Together

Digitec is working closely with Sunrise and Swisscom and will provide certification for VOLTE, Vowifi and 5g. So an OTA update should come after the end of the test :). See here in the comments: OnePlus 9 Pro (128GB, Morning Mist, 6.70", Dual SIM, 5G)
