Longer cable? With a longer USB cable, which I already had, the camera does not work. Are there officially supported longer cables with which this webcam works correctly?

I don't know about official support, but I use the cable from https://www.conrad.ch/de... and that works for me. Maybe it has something to do with the "supports power supply up to 3A"...

The description there also claims that it is twice as fast as USB 3.0 ... but it is USB 3.1 (Gen 1), which is synonymous with USB 3.0. So you can't really rely on the description.
