Normally you always have to set a password, otherwise you can't set up the fingerprint at all. because the mobile phone makes a password query every now and then so that you don't forget it. if you enter the password incorrectly 5 times, the mobile phone should be locked for 30 seconds and then a screen should appear that says forgotten password. then you can unlock the mobile phone with your Goggle password.
