My notebook does not support transmission via USB-C. But is an output notebook HDMI and input HP E14 USB-C possible including power supply output notebook USB-C and input HP E14 USB-C? 2. can the HP E14 also be used as a second screen, i.e. not duplicating the screen of the notebook, but as a second desktop?

I can't answer the first question, I don't have an HDMI to USB adapter. (Do they even exist in this direction? USB-C -> HDMI yes, but HDMI -> USB, I have never seen).

Second question, yes that works. I'm currently using mine as a 3 monitor on a docking station. (NB, Monitor, HP E14.
