My PC has a Thunderbolt 3 port, can I connect the Eizo 3285, which has a USB C port, directly to the PC with a Thunderbolt 3 cable, or is that not possible?

That should work. I can also connect my MS Surface Go via USB C to the Eizo 3385.
The video signal is transmitted perfectly and the MS Surface Go is powered at the same time. In addition, other USB devices can be connected to the monitor, which are then automatically connected to the Surface as well. Very good thing.
I can only recommend the monitor, great value for money, especially with the current cash back promotion from Eizo Switzerland.
