Regarding the longevity of the Joy-Con batteries, is it OK to leave the Joy-Cons on the charging dock once they are fully charged (green light)? OR is it better to detach them, once charged, until the next game?

Normally, any device with a battery should be unplugged when it is fully charged. We therefore advise you to unplug your joy-cons after charging them, in order to preserve the battery life :)

Hello,
Personally we always leave them on since purchase in October 2018.
Never had a problem to date.
Except for one LED (Out of 4) on the charger that has never worked.
