Seat distance? What is your seating distance from the monitor? I have 60cm and would have liked to use the Dell U3821, but it's not available anywhere, which is why I'm considering the U4021QW as an alternative, but I don't know if that's too much of a good thing in terms of size? 90% of the monitor is used for office work!

From my point of view, this is the perfect office monitor, as long as the graphics card can handle the resolution. Working distance approx. 50-60 cm, ideal due to the gentle curvature and not as big as a gaming monitor. With all connections the ideal device for me (was one of the co-criteria).

I previously had a Dell 32" 16:9 4k. (office/programming). The width was a bit too few pixels for me. The extra pixels are now perfect for 2 windows side by side. I always had to juggle a bit on the 4k 16:9. windows automatically set the font scaling to 150%, which is how I use it. Seat distance 60 - 80 cm (or further if I lean back). For me, the 40" 5k 21:9 is now perfect in size/resolution. My work notebook (hp) can handle the resolution, but only in 30 Hz. But that doesn't bother me when I'm working in the office. I had already ordered it and then looked to see if the notebook could handle the resolution. Although it said everywhere that it can only do 4k 60hz, I was then glad that the 5k at least worked in 30hz (directly in the intel graphics driver).
