Stupid question: Is it possible to connect one monitor with a USB-C cable and the second monitor to the second USB-C port of the first monitor? Quasi loop through so that I can connect two monitors to one Thunderbold 4 port of the MacBook Pro 2021?

The USB-C video input on this monitor works via DP Alternate Mode.
The USB-C downstream port is only a USB port.
Multi-stream transport (MST) supports multiple monitors, up to max. 2x 4k@60Hz. But the monitors must explicitly support this and have a DisplayPort-OUT connector.
Nothing is mentioned about this in the specifications and in the manual of the monitor.
