The distance between the pixels is really 2.72mm. That's huge, so I'd like to know the real distance, as it's probably a false figure.

Hello, this is a Full HD monitor. When you stand/sit in front of it, you can see the individual pixels, but you can also see the overall picture clearly. If a good pixel density is important to you, then I would recommend a 2k (1440x2560) monitor, as the image is much sharper.
