The rating says "low power consumption" and then it gets a G, who else understands that?

Quite simply, the energy labels have been changed to 2021 for monitors. There used to be categories A+++, A++ and A+. These have all been dropped. So G is not so bad. Most monitors will still be rated E, F or G in 2021.
