Unfortunately, I have constant problems with the Mi Box S, as buffering is super slow and often not possible at all, despite fast fibre-optic internet. Practically every day, the power to the box has to be interrupted as a kind of "restart" and then everything works again at normal speed. Is this a known problem and what is the solution? It is really super annoying

This is a known problem with the MI Box. If the box is in standby for some time, there are problems with the driver of the WLAN module and only choppy playback occurs. I have my boxes powered off via a power strip when not in use, so I'm not sure what the status is here. But I think this problem was solved with the last update. Do you have the latest software?

To me, this sounds like a WLAN problem - a test via LAN with such an adapter LevelOne 540023 (USB 2.0) could provide information. WLAN is now a power struggle with the neighbours - wehr can do more.
