Question about Devolo Magic 2 LAN DINrail

Unfortunately, my fibre optic input (and therefore also my router) are far away from the electrical box. However, I now need internet in the electrical box (for the Enegery Management Assistant). Would this part work for my use case? So it would not be the entry point of the internet (that would be on the 2nd floor via a Magic 2 dongle), but simply that I have internet in the junction box? Thanks for your feedback!

The "Magic 2 LAN DINrail" product from Devolo can work for your application. It enables the integration of Internet in the distribution box by connecting it directly to the power distribution box and thus increasing the powerline network speed. It is not the entry point of the internet, but can serve as an intermediate point to provide internet in the distribution box. Note, however, that the installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Since your router on the 2nd floor is connected via a Magic 2 dongle, the Magic 2 LAN DINrail in the distribution box can serve as part of the Powerline network to provide Internet without being the primary entry point.
