Helpful answer

I have mounted the arm on a 25mm plate. The clamping plate can be screwed together in two ways: approx. 10-45mm and approx. 35-80mm

I'm not sure but it's about 6-7cm, I rather had the problem that my table was not thick enough and therefore I had to clamp something in between :3
