What exactly is the difference between Sony LA-EA5 and LA-EA4 and what is the argument for one or the other lens adapter? I want to use the lens adapter with my Sony ZV-E10 and I have a Sony SAL18135.

There is nothing at all to be said for these adapters. I would buy a native 18-135 with E mount. It's not that expensive. Everything else is rubbish. The LA-EA4 turns the mirrorless into an SLT camera with a 10-year-old AF system. The LA-EA5 uses the AF system of the camera. But it only works with some new cameras. I don't know if the ZV-E10 is included. But it is not worth adapting a mediocre old 18-135.
