I have two laptops connected at the same time. 1x via USB-C, which is even used for the power supply, and 1x via HDMI. The switching works very reliably and quickly. Another advantage is that both laptops share the peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, webcam, etc.) The assignment is changed automatically when the image source is switched. I use the screen for office applications and for professional software development.

I use the monitor exclusively for OFFICE applications with a MacBook and an HP notebook. It works perfectly with both devices. However, the integrated speaker is not much good for watching a film, listening to music or video conferencing. I let the sound run through the notebook.
