Helpful answer
If you use a DisplayPort v.1.4 cable like on the monitor, yes, it will work. Both with the RTX 3070 Ti and the RTX 3080 Ti. But then it depends on the game if it's a demanding game indeed it might be limited.

If I dare to take up your time:
I'm looking for a 27'' G-Sync screen (no G-Sync compatible version) for an RTX 3070 Ti, budget max 1000.00, mainly for online fps games.
I understand that it's up to each person's taste and colour, but last time I made a mistake.
Thank you very much for your advice and information.

To get 240 Hz or 240 FPS in QHD, for example in Call of Duty, you need a 3090 Ti (even that would not be enough). But to use 240 Hz on its own, a 3070 Ti would do the trick. You won't reach 240 FPS in most games, but that's an open question-
