Would this screen replace a television? Or is it really more geared towards computers.

Helpful answer

Basically NO. The expectation of a television is that it can receive digital television signals via cable and - nowadays - that smart apps (Netflix and co) are integrated. This one can't do either. Only devices connected via HDMI/display port are displayed. But with very good quality

You can, but I wouldn't recommend it (no Dolby Vision, Atmos, etc) as far as I know...

I was really surprised for 48 inches, because you could easily use it as a TV 😊
