Yes, I don't understand why Android 10, which I read is no longer supported this year. What is the point of sustainability then... just like the permanently installed batteries in other devices... What about Switzerland, will the batteries also have to be replaceable by users next year like in Germany? So I don't notice much sustainability here when you have to throw away a mobile phone because the system is no longer supported and has holes. Or am I looking at it the wrong way?
The sustainability issue is difficult, there are other points that are not (yet) sustainable even with Fairphone. But it is fundamentally a problem because, for example, the mining and trading of necessary minerals in the mines of the countries of origin is not completely fair... I, too, have to live with this, but as an owner of the Fairphone for several years, I can give it my full praise, at least as far as its functionality is concerned. Apart from the fact that the headphone jack never worked right from the start 😉....
