In Africa, our old shoes begin a new life. Alongside commercial clothing collectors, sorters, and intermediaries, thousands of street vendors in Africa make a living by selling used clothes and shoes. They need to know which shoes are currently in fashion on the streets, the different types of customers, and the various styles of shoes these customers are looking for, when and where these customers are most likely to be found, how to approach them effectively, and what prices they are willing to pay.
