The stencil tape is part of the Pro Tape series, designed to meet the needs of professional users seeking long-lasting labeling solutions. Professionally label with Brother Pro Tapes.
The original Brother Pro Tape STe-161 stencil tape with white text on a transparent background (non-adhesive) has been specifically developed for electrolytic labeling. It features a temperature-sensitive layer that contains ink or a special liquid for direct labeling of electrically conductive surfaces or metal parts. When the stencil is pressed, small holes are integrated, allowing the electrolyte to penetrate the tape during the subsequent etching process. A stamp with marking felt or similar is placed on the tape and pressed into the metal. Finally, the metal changes color and is permanently marked with a serial number, a barcode, or a logo.
