Product details
The work of Christian Schad (1894–1982) is characterized by artistic experimentation, a constant engagement with changing styles, and a restless life with many stays abroad. In the 1920s and 1930s, he created paintings that held an unflinching mirror to the society of the Golden Twenties. It is these major works of New Objectivity that have particularly remained in memory.
